World Masters Games 2017

Archery was an early sell out at the WMG and so we know there will be plenty of archers coming to Auckland who want to practise, adjust to local conditions and meet fellow competitors and local club members.  In the spirit of goodwill and sportsmanship, Auckland Archery Club will provide half days sessions, principally outdoors, on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings from the beginning of March up to the start of WMG.

The WMG web site shows the address of all the archery events and for the outdoor there is a picture of our club.  This doesn’t mean the event is running at the club.  Just use the map location and ignore the very nice photo of our club range 🙂  Luckily the club ground is only 5 minutes from the Rugby League ground where the shoot actually takes place.

Where Auckland Archery Club, Cornwall Park see map elsewhere on website.  There is a public car park outside the club facilities.  If you are using public transport there will be a bit of walk into the park.
Dates Prior to the games

Tuesday 7th March 2017 to Friday 14th April 2017 on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Club members need the week before the WMG to help setup the competition venues, if you or your friends want to help with that, let us know! (Mail using the link at the end of this page).  Help in pulling out targets and putting them away again would be very much appreciated.
